Dhaka Bangladesh – 16 December 2016 – The Ethan Reynolds Foundation (TERF) and Vivid Charity Foundation (Vivid) signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU), which will enable two charitable organisations to work on projects that will provide quality education to sixty underprivileged children living in Banani slum- Bangladesh.

The MoU was signed by TERF Founder and president Julia Reynolds and Vivid Founder and Mitali Das, recognises the shared goals of each Foundation in providing free of charge education to these children, whose families are living in extreme poverty. The first joint initiative will see Vivid School using funds raised by TERF to purchase most text books for its sixty students of Korail slum, Banani, Dhakafor for the whole 2017.

Ms. Das said at the signing ceremony outside of a Vivid School room in Dhaka, Bangladesh: “Vivid School is an education project of Vivid Charity Foundation. The aim of Vivid School is not only to provide educational facilities but also to nurture the children’s mind with proper care and by disseminating moral values so that they can flourish as a well-mannered individual.”

“Each year, the school is in need of a large number of books for the children. It includes regular academic books for each grade and other subject books o according to the national school book list. With the help of TERF, Vivid School is able to deliver free books to our students.” Ms. Reynolds, who travelled to Bangladesh for the MoU signing, said: “We are excited about this partnership with Vivid Charity Foundation. Education is essential for these children to gain the right knowledge and skills and to apply them in their employment, and therefore, break the cycle of poverty.”

The MoU is valid for two years. Under the agreement, TERF will provide funding to Vivid School to purchase academic books for each grade and other subject books according to the national school book list.
